Compressor/Pump: Testing and Inspection
SUSPENSION CONTROL: HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR: INSPECTION
1. INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR (EXHAUST VALVE)
(a) Measure the resistance of the exhaust valve.
Text in Illustration
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(b) Check the exhaust valve operation.

(1) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 (B), and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 (L).
(2) Check the operating sound of the height control valve.
OK:
It makes an operating sound.
(2) If the value is not as specified replace the height control compressor.
2. INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR (COMPRESSOR MOTOR)
(a) Check the compressor operation.
(1) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1(B), and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (E).

(2) Check the operation of the compressor motor.
OK:
Motor operates.
(2) If the value is not as specified replace the height control compressor.
NOTICE:
* Do not operate the height control compressor for 60 seconds or more.
* Since a short and a lock-up inside the height control compressor cause excessive current to flow, stop operation immediately when it does not rotate.
