U660E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE BATTERY Removal

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE INLET NO. 2 AIR CLEANER Removal

5. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER Removal

6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Move the shift lever to N.

(b) Disconnect the wire harness clamp.





(c) Remove the nut from the control shaft lever.





(d) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws, disconnect the control cable with clip from the control cable bracket.

(e) Remove the clip.

(f) Turn back the carpet.





(g) Remove the 3 bolts and pull out the transmission control cable assembly from the body.
