WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU
1. MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the J7 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
(c) Reconnect the J7 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
(d) If the result is not as specified, the multiplex network master switch assembly may have a malfunction.
2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)
(a) Disconnect the I7 power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
(c) Reconnect the I7 power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
(d) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) may have a malfunction.
3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side)
(a) Disconnect the L3 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH side) connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
(c) Reconnect the L3 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH side) connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
(d) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH side) may have a malfunction.
4. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side)
(a) Disconnect the K3 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
(c) Reconnect the K3 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
(d) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) may have a malfunction.
5. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)
(a) Disconnect the J1 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
(c) Reconnect the J1 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
(d) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) may have a malfunction.
6. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)
(a) Disconnect the I2 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
(c) Reconnect the I2 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
(d) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) may have a malfunction.
7. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side)
(a) Disconnect the L2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH side) connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
(c) Reconnect the L2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH side) connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
(d) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH side) may have a malfunction.
8. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side)
(a) Disconnect the K2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH side) connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
(c) Reconnect the K2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH side) connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
(d) If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH side) may have a malfunction.
9. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY, MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
(a) Disconnect the 2F, F14 and 2D junction block connectors.
(b) Disconnect the A main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
(c) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.
(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness or instrument panel junction block assembly.
(d) Reconnect the 2F, F14 and 2D junction block connectors.
(e) Reconnect the A main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
(f) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
(f) If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) or instrument panel junction block assembly may have a malfunction.
10. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the F58 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with connector disconnected.
(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
(c) Reconnect the F58 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
(d) Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
(d) If the result is not as specified, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) may have a malfunction.
