Removal

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

(a) Remove the 4 clips.





(b) Disengage the guide and remove the engine room side cover.

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH

(a) Remove the 4 clips.





(b) Disengage the guide and remove the engine room side cover LH.

3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

(a) Remove the 6 clips and cool air intake duct seal.





4. REMOVE HOOD CENTER CUSHION

(a) Remove the 2 hood center cushions.





5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(b) Using a screwdriver, turn the pins 90 degrees and remove the 2 pin hold clips.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(c) Remove the screw and front bumper seal bracket.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(d) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 screws.





(e) Using a clip remover, remove the 6 clips.

(f) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front bumper assembly.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(g) Using a moulding remover, disengage the claw.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(h) Disconnect the fog light connector.

(i) Disconnect the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor connector. (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(j) Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose. (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

NOTICE:
Prepare a drain pan or a piece of cloth in case washer fluid leaks.

(k) Remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
