EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

4. REMOVE HOOD CENTER CUSHION Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

(a) Using a clip remover, disconnect the 16 clips and remove the hood to radiator grille seal.





7. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Remove the 2 clips.





(b) Disengage the 10 claws and 2 guides to remove the radiator grille.

8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

HINT
When removing the mouldings, heat the vehicle radiator grille and radiator grille emblem using a heat light.

Heating Temperature





NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle radiator grille or radiator grille emblem excessively.

(a) Put protective tape around the radiator grille emblem.

(b) Using a moulding remover, peel off the double-sided tape to remove the radiator grille emblem.

9. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM BASE (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Remove the 2 spring nuts.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the radiator grille emblem base.

10. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Remove the 2 spring nuts.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the radiator grille emblem.
