SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Engage the 8 clamps and install the front seat wire to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

(b) Connect the 3 connectors.

(c) Engage the 3 clamps and install the front seat wire.

(d) Connect the connector.

(e) w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:

(1) Engage the 5 clamps.

2. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Engage the 2 guides and install the seat heater control sub-assembly.

(b) Connect the connector.

3. INSTALL SEAT POSITION SENSOR Installation

4. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Engage the 2 hooks and temporarily install the seat cushion climate control blower.

(b) Install the screw.

(c) Connect the connector and install the seat cushion climate control blower as shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Engage the 2 claws.

(b) Engage the 2 clamps (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow.

(c) Engage the 2 clamps (B) in the direction indicated by the arrow and install the seat cushion climate control duct.

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Engage the hook as shown in the illustration.

(c) Install the front seat lower cushion shield RH with the screw.

7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Engage the hook as shown in the illustration.

8. INSTALL UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the upper reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.

9. INSTALL LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Engage the clamp and install the side airbag wire harness.

(c) Install the lower reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the 2 screws.

10. INSTALL UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the upper reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

11. INSTALL LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the lower reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the 2 screws.

(c) Engage the clamp and install the side airbag wire harness.

12. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT

(a) Install the active headrest lower unit with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

13. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT

(a) Install the active headrest upper unit with the 4 nuts [B].

Torque : 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the cable to the active headrest upper unit with the nut [A] as shown in the illustration.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

14. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the bush.

(b) Engage the guide.

(c) Install the lumbar support adjuster assembly with the 2 screws.

(d) Connect the connector.

(e) Engage the 2 clamps as shown in the illustration.

(f) Engage the 4 guides and install the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

(g) Engage the 4 guides to install the seatback felt.

15. INSTALL SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Using a T30 ''TORX'' socket, install the seatback climate control blower and the seatback climate control cover to the seat frame with the 6 ''TORX'' bolts.

Torque : 2.6 Nm (27 kgf-cm, 23 in-lbf)

(b) for Driver Side:

(1) Engage the 3 clamps and install the wire harness.

(2) Connect the connector.

(c) for Front Passenger Side:

(1) Engage the clamp and install the wire harness.

(2) Connect the connector.

16. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Using a tacker, install the front seatback heater assembly to the end of the seat cover with the 12 tack pins.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the tack pins, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 14 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
18. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Temporarily install the front seatback cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

(b) Install the front seatback cover bracket with the nut.

Torque : 5.6 Nm (57 kgf-cm, 50 in-lbf)

CAUTION:
* For vehicles with side airbags, the seatback cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the side airbags may not deploy properly.
* Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
* Install the bracket securely.
(c) Engage the 6 hooks as shown in the illustration.

(d) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seat frame with 5 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
(e) Engage the 2 hooks and install the front seatback cover with pad.

19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

20. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 hooks to install the front seatback board cover sub-assembly.

21. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the front setback board sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

22. INSTALL NO. 2 TELEVISION BASE (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)

(a) Engage the 2 guides.

(b) Install the 5 clips.

(c) Install the No. 2 television base with the 4 screws.

23. INSTALL TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH COVER (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) Installation

24. INSTALL TELEVISION BASE COVER CAP (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) Installation

25. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Using a tacker, install the front seat cushion heater assembly to the end of the seat cover with the 30 tack pins.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the tack pins, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
26. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 19 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
(b) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 2 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
27. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 15 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
28. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Installation

29. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)

(a) w/o Climate Control Seat System:

(1) Engage the 5 clamps.

(b) w/ Climate Control Seat System:

(1) Engage the 6 clamps.

(2) Connect the 2 connectors.

(c) for Front Passenger Side:

(1) Engage the 2 clamps and connect the occupant detection sensor connector.

(d) Engage each hook as shown in the illustration.

(e) Install the 2 clips.

(f) Engage the 6 hooks and install the front seat cushion cover with pad.

30. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
(b) Engage the 4 hooks.

(d) Engage each hook as shown in the illustration.

(e) Install the 2 clips.

(f) Engage the 6 hooks and install the front seat cushion cover with pad.

31. INSTALL POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the 2 connectors.

(b) Engage the guide.

(c) Install the position control ECU and switch assembly with the 3 screws.

32. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD

(a) Engage the guide and temporarily install the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the claw.

(c) Install the front seat cushion inner shield with the screw.

33. INSTALL SEAT VARIABLE CUSHION SWITCH (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)

(a) Install the seat variable cushion switch with the 2 screws.

34. INSTALL LUMBAR SWITCH

(a) Install the lumbar switch with the 2 screws.

35. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD

(a) Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the No. 1 front seat cushion inner shield with the 2 screws.

36. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

(a) w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function:

(1) Connect the connector.

(2) Engage the 2 clamps to the install the seat wire to front seat cushion shield assembly with seat variable cushion switch.

(b) Connect the connector to the lumbar switch.

(d) Install the front seat cushion shield assembly with the 5 screws.

(e) Engage the 2 hooks and install the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board to the seat frame.

37. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

38. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the reclining power seat switch knob.

39. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Installation
