2GR-FE FUEL: FUEL PUMP: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the No. 1 fuel suction support to the fuel filter.





2. INSTALL FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH FILTER

(a) Install the fuel pump spacer onto the fuel pump assembly with filter.





(b) Install a new fuel pump filter seal onto the fuel pump assembly with filter.





(c) Apply a coat of gasoline to the fuel pump filter seal.

(d) Engage the 5 claws on the fuel filter and install the fuel pump assembly with filter.





NOTICE:
Attach the claws securely.

3. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the fuel pump filter tube while aligning it to the installation position of the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.





(b) Connect the jet pump nozzle to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

(c) Install the fuel filter to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank and attach the 2 claws.





(d) Connect the fuel pump connector to the fuel pump.





(e) Install the spring to the fuel suction plate shaft and install it to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

(f) Install a new E-ring.
