SUSPENSION CONTROL: SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU

(a) Connect the 3 connectors.





(b) Install the suspension control ECU to the body with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
* Avoid any impact to the suspension control ECU.
* Do not drop the ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
* If the suspension control ECU is replaced with a new one, enter test mode and perform registration of vehicle identification information Registration.
(c) Connect the 4WD ECU assembly connector.





(d) Install the 4WD ECU assembly with the bolt.

Torque : 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH

(a) Install the ECU integration box RH with the 2 nuts and bolt.





(b) Install the No. 3 connector holder with the nut and claw.





(c) Connect each connector.





3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH RH Installation

6. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Installation

8. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Installation

9. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

12. INSPECT SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM

NOTICE:
If the suspension control ECU is replaced with a new one, perform registration of vehicle identification information.

(a) Inspect the suspension control system Registration.

13. ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT

NOTICE:
If the suspension control ECU has been replaced, be sure to adjust the vehicle height.

(a) Adjust the vehicle height Calibration.

14. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTICE:
Some systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.

15. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.

16. ADJUST HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Adjust the headlight Adjustments.
