PRE-COLLISION: PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM: C1A46: Yaw Rate Sensor
C1A46 - Yaw Rate Sensor
DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU assembly receives vehicle stability signals from the yaw rate sensor and sends the signals to the driving support ECU and ECM. If the skid control ECU assembly detects that the yaw rate sensor is malfunctioning, the skid control ECU assembly sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU, and the driving support ECU stores DTC C1A46. Also, when DTC C1A46 is stored, the skid control ECU assembly stores DTC C1234 at the same time.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT
This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)
