EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the 2 screws and grommet.

(b) Remove the 4 screws.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts and 3 clips.

(d) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 luggage compartment side cover protector.

2. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR Removal

3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Put protective tape around the rear bumper assembly.

(b) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(d) Remove the screw.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(e) Disengage the 7 claws.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(f) Disconnect each connector.

(g) Disengage the 4 claws and 4 guides, and remove the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
