SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Temporarily install the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.





(b) Temporarily install the 3 bolts on the rear side of the seat.





(c) Connect the connector.





(d) Install the rear seat assembly LH with the 5 bolts.

Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

2. CONNECT REAR SEAT LOCK CABLE ASSEMBLY LH

(a) When replacing the rear seat assembly LH or No. 2 rear seat reclining control cable with a new one:

(1) Connect the rear seat assembly LH or No. 2 rear seat reclining control cable as shown in the illustration.





(b) When replacing the rear seat lock cable assembly LH with a new one:

(1) Engage the joint piece with the cable of the rear seat lock cable assembly LH.

(2) Connect the rear seat lock cable assembly LH and connector case as shown in the illustration.





(3) Push the lock pin of the connector case as shown in the illustration to connect the rear seat lock cable assembly LH.





(c) When reusing the rear seat assembly LH, No. 2 rear seat reclining control cable and rear seat lock cable assembly LH:

(1) Connect the rear seat lock cable assembly LH as shown in the illustration.





(2) Connect the No. 2 rear seat reclining control cable as shown in the illustration.

(3) Install the rear seat reclining control cable to the cover as shown in the illustration.





(4) Connect the No. 2 rear seat reclining control cable as shown in the illustration.





(d) Return the seatback to the upright position.

(e) Press the adjusters lock piece to lock it as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
When pressing the lock piece, make sure the adjusters spring is not compressed.

(f) Engage the guide.





(g) Connect the No. 2 fold seat stopper band assembly with the bolt.

Torque : 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)

(h) Connect the rear seatback board carpet assembly with the 4 clips.





3. INSPECT REAR SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK

(a) Check that the left and right adjusters lock simultaneously when sliding the seat.

(b) If the left and right adjusters do not lock simultaneously, adjust by loosening the bolts securing the seat.

4. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER TRACK BRACKET COVER LH

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the rear seat inner track bracket cover LH.





5. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER LH

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the rear seat outer track bracket cover LH.





6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the rear seat headrest assembly as shown in the illustration.





7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
