Applicability

Introduction

Some 2010 - 2011 model year RX 450h vehicles may exhibit a MIL "ON" condition with Diagnostic Trouble Codes P3190 and P0A0F info code 204 present. Please refer to the diagnostic procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.

Required Tools & Equipment

Repair Procedure

1. Using TIS Techstream confirm if DTCs P3190 and P0A0F info code 204 are present.

NOTE

If other DTCs are present in the Engine or Hybrid system, diagnose those DTCs first as this TSIB might NOT apply.

2. Inspect Freeze Frame Data for DTC P3190 and confirm a lean condition was present when the DTC was detected. If a lean condition was NOT present this TSIB does not apply.

3. Confirm the fuel pump resistor connector is fully seated.





4. If no concerns are noted with the fuel pump resistor connector or fuel pump circuit replace the following components:

^ Fuel Pump

^ Fuel Pump Filter

^ Fuel Suction Plate Sub-Assembly





Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model and model year Repair Manual for component replacement procedures:

5. Clear all DTCs and test drive to verify the repair.
