2GR-FXE EMISSION CONTROL: EGR VALVE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the windshield wiper motor and link assembly Removal.

2. REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER CAP LH (w/ Air Suspension) Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER CAP RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

4. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) Service and Repair

6. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 nuts.





(b) Disconnect the 2 water hoses and connector.





(c) Remove the 2 nuts.

(d) Using an E8 "TORX" wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts.

(e) Remove the EGR valve assembly and 2 gaskets.
