PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE WARNING ECU: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

8. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

9. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

11. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal

13. DISCONNECT CONNECTOR HOLDER

(a) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the wire harness.





(b) Remove the nut.

(c) Disengage the claw and disconnect the connector holder.

14. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX

(a) Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and ECU integration box.





15. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the clearance warning ECU assembly.
