BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: SKID CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION
NOTICE:
While the battery is connected, even if the power switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or any door courtesy switch is turned on. Therefore, when servicing the brake system components, do not depress the brake pedal or open/close the doors while the battery is connected.
1. INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU
(a) Connect the 4 connectors to the skid control ECU.
(b) Install the skid control ECU with the 2 bolts.
Torque : 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)
2. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH
(a) Install the ECU integration box RH with the 2 nuts and bolt.
Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
3. INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER
(a) Install the connector holder with the nut.
Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Installation
5. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
HINT
Refer to the procedure up to Install Front Passenger Side Knee Airbag Assembly Installation.
6. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
(a) Check and clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
7. PERFORM LINEAR VALVE OFFSET LEARNING
(a) When the skid control ECU is replaced, perform linear valve offset learning Initialization.
8. PERFORM YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
(a) Perform yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration Calibration.
9. PERFORM TEST MODE INSPECTION
(a) Perform test mode inspection Test Mode Procedure.
