HYBRID / BATTERY CONTROL: BATTERY PLUG: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION

2. READ OUTPUT DTC
(a) Check for DTCs Hybrid Battery System.
NOTICE:
Check for DTCs and confirm that P0AA6 (Hybrid Battery Voltage System Isolation Fault) is not output before doing removal or installation inside the battery. If the DTC is output, perform troubleshooting first.
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
4. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal
5. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP Removal
6. REMOVE BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

Removal.
7. REMOVE ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY PLUG ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
NOTICE:
* Insulate the removed terminals with insulating tape.
* Insulate the tool with insulating tape.
* Do not use a universal joint. Using a universal joint may cause the socket extension to drop and create a short circuit.
(a) Disconnect the connector and remove the 2 nuts.
(b) Disconnect the connector, and remove the bolt and electric vehicle battery plug.
