2GR-FXE BATTERY / CHARGING: BATTERY: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY (for Compact Spare Tire) Removal

3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal

5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. REMOVE AUXILIARY BATTERY

(a) Open the battery terminal cap.





(b) Loosen the nut, and separate the positive (+) battery terminal.

(c) Remove the nut and bolt.





(d) Remove the battery clamp.

(e) Disconnect the battery ventilation hose.





(f) Remove the battery insulator.

(g) Remove the battery.
