SUSPENSION CONTROL: SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal

8. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH RH Removal

11. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH

(a) Disconnect each connector.





(b) Remove the nut.





(c) Disengage the claw and remove the No. 3 connector holder.

(d) Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and ECU integration box RH.





14. REMOVE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY Removal

15. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and suspension control ECU from the body.





NOTICE:
* Avoid any impact to the suspension control ECU.
* Do not drop the ECU. If the ECU is dropped, replace it with a new one.
(b) Disconnect the 3 connectors.
