SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Temporarily install the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

(b) Temporarily install the 3 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

(d) Install the rear seat assembly RH with the 5 bolts.

Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

2. CONNECT REAR SEAT LOCK CABLE ASSEMBLY RH

(a) When replacing the rear seat assembly RH or rear seat reclining control cable with a new one:

(1) Connect the rear seat assembly RH or rear seat reclining control cable as shown in the illustration.

(b) When replacing the rear seat lock cable assembly RH with a new one:

(1) Engage the joint piece with the cable of the rear seat lock cable assembly RH.

(2) Connect the rear seat lock cable assembly RH and connector case as shown in the illustration.

(3) Push the lock pin of the connector case as shown in the illustration to connect the rear seat lock cable assembly RH.

(c) When reusing the rear seat assembly RH, rear seat reclining control cable and rear seat lock cable assembly RH:

(1) Connect the rear seat lock cable assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

(2) Connect the rear seat lock cable assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

(3) Install the rear seat reclining control cable to the cover as shown in the illustration.

(4) Connect the rear No. 1 seat lock cable assembly as shown in the illustration.

(d) Return the seatback to the upright position.

(e) Press the adjuster's lock piece to lock it as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
When pressing the lock piece, make sure the adjusters spring is not compressed.

(f) Engage the guide.

(g) Connect the No. 1 fold seat stopper band assembly with the bolt.

Torque : 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)

(h) Connect the rear seatback board carpet assembly RH with the 3 clips.

(i) Connect the rear seatback board sub-assembly with the 2 clips.

3. INSPECT REAR SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK

(a) Check that the left and right adjusters lock simultaneously when sliding the seat.

(b) If the left and right adjusters do not lock simultaneously, adjust by loosening the bolts securing the seat.

4. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the seat inner track bracket cover RH.

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the seat outer track bracket cover RH.

6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the rear seat headrest assembly as shown in the illustration.

7. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the rear seat headrest assembly as shown in the illustration.

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

10. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Installation
