SUSPENSION CONTROL: ACTIVE STABILIZER SUSPENSION SYSTEM: DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST
1. READ DATA LIST
HINT
Using the Techstream to read the Data List allows the values or states of switches, sensors, actuators and other items to be read without removing any parts. This non-intrusive inspection can be very useful because intermittent conditions or signals may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Reading the Data List information early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time.
NOTICE:
In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the power switch on (READY).
(d) Turn the Techstream on.
(e) Enter the following menus (Front active stabilizer): Chassis / Front Stabilizer / Data List.
(f) Read the Data List by following the directions on the Techstream screen.
Front Stabilizer
(g) Enter the following menus (Rear active stabilizer): Chassis / Rear Stabilizer / Data List.
(h) Read the Data List by following the directions on the Techstream screen.

2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST
HINT
Using the Techstream to perform Active Tests allows relays, VSVs, actuators and other items to be operated without removing any parts. This non-intrusive functional inspection can be very useful because intermittent operation may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Performing Active Tests early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time. Data List information can be displayed while performing Active Tests.
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the power switch on (READY) and turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus (Front active stabilizer): Chassis / Front Stabilizer / Active Test.
(e) Perform the Active Test by following the prompts on the Techstream.
Front Stabilizer
NOTICE:
During the Active Test, do not drive the vehicle.
HINT
If the Active Test cannot be performed, check for DTCs Active Stabilizer Suspension System. If test mode DTC C194F and/or C1950 are output, refer to the appropriate flowchart C194F.
(f) Enter the following menus (Rear active stabilizer): Chassis / Rear Stabilizer / Active Test.
(g) Perform the Active Test by following the prompts on the Techstream.
Rear Stabilizer
NOTICE:
During the Active Test, do not drive the vehicle.
HINT
If the Active Test cannot be performed, check for DTCs Active Stabilizer Suspension System. If test mode DTC C194F and/or C1951 are output, refer to the appropriate flowchart C194F.
