C1A02 - Vehicle Information Not Obtained
DESCRIPTION
When the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). If the driving support ECU cannot store the country specification information, DTC C1A02 is stored.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DRIVING SUPPORT ECU COUNTRY INFORMATION)
(a) Use the Data List to check if the country specification information is correct Scan Tool Testing and Procedures.

OK:
Country specification information for driving support ECU and vehicle match.
NG -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
(1) Drive the vehicle at a speed of 50 km/h (30 mph) or more and operate the lane departure alert system.
(c) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
DTC C1A02 is not output.
