DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). If the driving support ECU cannot store the country specification information, DTC C1A02 is stored.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (DRIVING SUPPORT ECU COUNTRY INFORMATION)

(a) Use the Data List to check if the country specification information is correct Pre-Collision System.

OK:

Country specification information is correct.

NG -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.

(b) Check for DTCs Pre-Collision System.

OK:

DTC C1A02 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU Removal

OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
