How To Proceed With Troubleshooting





CRUISE CONTROL: DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM: HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

4. CHECK FOR DTC*

(a) Check for DTCs Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System.

(b) Clear the DTCs Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System.

(c) Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output in the first step, try to force output of the dynamic radar cruise control system DTCs by simulating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.
