LIN Communication System





NETWORKING: LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the driver side junction block assembly Removal.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

2. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the K3 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

3. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the K6 front power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

4. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the J6 front power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

5. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the M4 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

6. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the L4 rear power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

7. CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the W2 sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly connector.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

8. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU





(a) Disconnect the G26 certification ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

9. CHECK POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU





(a) Disconnect the G39 power management control ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





10. CHECK ID CODE BOX





(a) Disconnect the G25 ID code box connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

11. CHECK STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (STEERING LOCK ECU)

(a) Disconnect the G23 steering lock actuator assembly (steering lock ECU) connector.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

12. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the G13 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

13. CHECK HEATER CONTROL SWITCH BOARD (w/o Navigation System)





(a) Disconnect the H32 heater control switch board connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

14. CHECK NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System)





(a) Disconnect the T2 No. 2 air conditioning control assembly connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

15. CHECK RAIN SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the W6 rain sensor connector.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

16. CHECK WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the G50 windshield wiper switch assembly connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

17. CHECK DRIVING SUPPORT SWITCH CONTROL ECU

(a) Disconnect the G60 driving support switch control ECU connector.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

18. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the G3 combination meter assembly connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

19. CHECK ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)





(a) Disconnect the H26 accessory meter assembly connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
