Rear Acceleration Sensor
SUSPENSION CONTROL: REAR ACCELERATION SENSOR: INSPECTION
1. INSPECT REAR ACCELERATION SENSOR
(a) Connect 3 dry batteries of 1.5 V in series.
(b) Connect the positive (+) end of the batteries to terminal 3 (SGV) of the acceleration sensor and the negative (-) end of the batteries to terminal 2 (SGND). Then measure the voltage between terminal 1 (SGRR) and terminal 2 (SGND).
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:

When the rear acceleration sensor is tilted, it may output a different value.
NOTICE:
* Do not apply higher than 6 V.
* Do not drop the rear acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
* Never place the rear acceleration sensor upside down.
If the result is not as specified, replace the rear acceleration sensor.
