AUDIO / VIDEO: RADIO RECEIVER: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)
NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Navigation System for HDD) Removal
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Navigation System for HDD)
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH Removal
7. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE Removal
8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Removal
10. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Removal
11. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH REGISTER
NOTICE:
* The 4 bolts of the radio receiver assembly with register are installed though the service holes at the bottom in the instrument panel. Make sure to check all of them.
* If the radio receiver assembly with register is pulled without removing the 4 bolts, it may result in damage to the radio receiver assembly with register.
(a) Remove the 4 bolts.
(b) Disengage the 9 clips.
(c) Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with register.
12. REMOVE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
13. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly.
14. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the No. 4 instrument panel register assembly.
15. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
