Disassembly

DOOR / HATCH: HOOD: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE HOOD AUXILIARY CATCH HOOK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and hood auxiliary catch hook assembly.





2. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

(a) Using a clip remover, disengage the 10 clips and remove the hood to radiator support seal.





3. REMOVE HOOD INSULATOR

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 9 clips.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the hood insulator.

4. REMOVE WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. DISCONNECT WASHER HOSE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 5 clips and disconnect the washer hose assembly.





6. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

7. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
