Disassembly

INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT CONSOLE BOX: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE CONSOLE COIN BOX

(a) Remove the console coin box as shown in the illustration.





2. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT BOX (w/ Seat Heater System)

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the console compartment box.





3. REMOVE LOWER CONSOLE BOX POCKET

(a) Remove the lower console box pocket as shown in the illustration.





4. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH

(a) Using moulding remover A, disengage the 6 claws, 2 clips and 2 guides, and remove the front console upper panel garnish as shown in the illustration.





5. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Pull the console compartment door lock sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 4 guides and remove the console compartment door lock sub-assembly.





6. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the console compartment door subassembly as shown in the illustration.





7. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CUSHION

(a) Remove the 2 console box cushions from the console compartment door.





8. REMOVE NO. 1 UPPER BOX PLATE

(a) Remove the 7 screws.





(b) Disengage the 2 clips and 2 guides, and remove the No. 1 side box panel.





(c) Remove the No. 1 upper box plate as shown in the illustration.





9. REMOVE NO. 2 UPPER BOX PLATE

Use the same procedure as for the No. 1 upper box plate.

10. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION

(a) Remove the No. 1 console compartment door cushion from the No. 1 upper box plate.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the No. 2 upper box plate and No. 1 upper box plate.

11. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION

(a) Remove the No. 2 console compartment door cushion from the No. 1 upper box plate.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the No. 2 upper box plate and No. 1 upper box plate.

12. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX WIRE

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disconnect each connector.

(c) Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the rear console box wire.
