Removal





THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (for Front Floor): REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Air Suspension) Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

Removal

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE Removal

7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Removal

9. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX COVER Removal

11. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX Removal

12. REMOVE ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Disengage the clamp and remove the electrical key oscillator.

NOTICE:
Be careful when removing the electrical key oscillator. If the oscillator is dropped, replace it with a new one.
