DOOR / HATCH: POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Air Suspension) Removal

2. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE Removal

6. REMOVE BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the back door control switch assembly as shown in the illustration.
