BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY: INSTALLATION

NOTICE:
While the battery is connected, even if the power switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or any door courtesy switch is turned on. Therefore, when servicing the brake system components, do not depress the brake pedal or open/close the doors while the battery is connected.

1. INSTALL BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 2 control power supply bracket and No. 1 control power supply bracket with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)





NOTICE:
Do not drop the brake control power supply. If the brake control power supply has been dropped, replace the brake control power supply with a new one.

2. INSTALL BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY WITH BRACKET

(a) Connect the connector.





(b) Install the brake control power supply with bracket with the 3 nuts.





Torque : 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)

(c) Install the 2 clamps.

8. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH (for Full Size Spare Tire) Installation

9. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL NO. 3 REAR FLOOR BOARD (for Compact Spare Tire) Installation

11. INSTALL NO. 3 REAR FLOOR BOARD (for Full Size Spare Tire) Installation

12. INSTALL NO. 4 REAR FLOOR BOARD (for Compact Spare Tire) Installation

13. INSTALL NO. 4 REAR FLOOR BOARD (for Full Size Spare Tire) Installation

14. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY (for Compact Spare Tire) Installation

15. INSTALL DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

16. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
