Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NETWORKING: LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Power Source Control, Smart Key or Main Body / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check the details of the DTC(s) LIN Communication System.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Power Source Control, Smart Key or Main Body / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTC(s).
