P313 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension)

CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

5. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the nut from the control shaft lever.





(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the control cable with clip from the control cable bracket.

(c) Remove the clip.

6. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER POSITION SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the shift lever position sensor connector.





(b) Remove the nut, washer and control shaft lever.





(c) Using a screwdriver, pry out the lock plate.

(e) Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the shift lever position sensor.
