POWER ASSIST SYSTEMS: DC / DC CONVERTER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING CONVERTER ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear insulated gloves during this procedure.

(a) Install the power steering converter assembly with the 3 bolts.





CAUTION:
* Wear insulated gloves during this procedure.
* Wrap insulating tape around the terminals of the removed high-voltage cables and connectors to insulate them.
Torque : 12 Nm (117 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect each connector and install the 2 clamps to the power steering converter assembly.

(c) Install the high-voltage cables to the power steering converter assembly with the bolt.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(d) Check that the high-voltage cables are securely connected to the power steering converter assembly.

NOTICE:
Ensure that the connectors are securely connected.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 POWER STEERING BRACKET

(a) Install the No. 1 power steering bracket with the 3 nuts.





Torque : 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)

(b) Install the wire harness clamp to the No. 1 power steering bracket.

(c) Return the floor carpet to its original position.

5. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Installation

6. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH Installation

7. INSTALL LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH Installation

8. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Installation

9. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH RH Installation

11. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Installation

12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Installation

13. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX Installation

14. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE BOX COVER Installation

15. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Installation

16. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Installation

17. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

18. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE Installation

25. INSTALL CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

26. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT Installation

27. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

28. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

29. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

31. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP

32. INSPECT SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Air Suspension)
