Installation
P313 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL OUTLET OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the No. 1 oil cooler tube clamp with the bolt shown in the illustration.

Torque : 20 Nm (199 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)
(b) Install the oil cooler tube union with a new gasket.
Torque : 34 Nm (350 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf)
(c) Temporarily install the outlet oil cooler tube sub-assembly.

(d) Install the No. 2 oil cooler tube clamp with the bolt.
Torque : 8.2 Nm (84 kgf-cm, 73 in-lbf)
(e) Using a union nut wrench (17 mm), install the outlet oil cooler tube sub-assembly while holding the union with a wrench.
Torque : 34 Nm (350 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL NO. 1 TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE BRACKET
(a) Install the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket with the 2 bolts.
Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
3. INSTALL WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET
(a) Install the 2 wire harness clamp brackets with the 2 bolts.
- Torque : 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf) (for Bolt A)
- Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf) (for Bolt B)
4. INSTALL NO. 2 TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE BRACKET
(a) Install the No. 2 transmission control cable bracket with the bolt.
Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
5. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY
(a) Make sure that the knock pins are installed on the engine.
(b) Install the hybrid vehicle transaxle with the 10 bolts shown in the illustration to the engine.
Bolt A - Torque : 64 Nm (653 kgf-cm, 47 ft-lbf)
Bolt B - Torque : 46 Nm (469 kgf-cm, 34 ft-lbf)
Bolt C - Torque : 64 Nm (653 kgf-cm, 47 ft-lbf)
Bolt D - Torque : 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
* Do not reuse bolt B.
* Do not forcibly pry on the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.
* Do not apply grease either to the splines or to the input shaft.
6. INSTALL HYBRID TRANSAXLE MASS DAMPER
(a) Install a new gasket and the hybrid transaxle mass damper.
Torque : 39 Nm (400 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)
7. INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CASE COVER
(a) Install the automatic transmission case cover with the 2 bolts.
Torque : 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf)
8. INSTALL FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET
(a) Install the front engine mounting bracket with the 3 bolts.
Torque : 64 Nm (653 kgf-cm, 47 ft-lbf)
9. INSTALL NO. 3 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CASE COVER
(a) Install the No. 3 automatic transmission case cover with the 2 bolts and clip.
Torque : 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
(b) Install the No. 3 transmission control cable bracket with the bolt.
Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
10. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE
(a) Connect the 4 connectors and 8 wire harness clamps to the hybrid vehicle transaxle.
