Installation
P313 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY
NOTICE:
Check that the park/neutral position switch and the shift lever are in neutral.
(a) Turn the lock nut of the transmission control cable counterclockwise. While holding the lock nut, push in the stopper.

(b) Connect the outer part of the transmission control cable to the shift lever retainer.

NOTICE:
The lock nut is fully seated against the shift lever retainer.
(c) Install the transmission control cable end to the shift lever assembly.
NOTICE:
* Install the floor shift cable with the uneven surface facing up.
* Install the cable end all the way to the base of the pin.
(d) Install the shift lever assembly with the 4 nuts.
Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
(e) Connect the 3 clamps to the shift lever assembly.
(f) Connect the 2 connectors.

10. INSTALL MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU ASSEMBLY (w/ USB Audio System) Installation
11. INSTALL CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
12. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT Installation
13. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
14. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
16. INSPECT SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Air Suspension)
(a) Inspect the suspension control system Test Mode Procedure.
17. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION Adjustments
18. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION Adjustments
19. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER OPERATION Adjustments
20. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Installation
