Fuel Pump: Testing and Inspection

Inspecting Fuel Pump Operation:

- Remove fuel pump, refer to COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROCEDURES.
- Briefly apply battery voltage to fuel pump connector, noting polarity.

Pump should run

Inspecting Fuel Pump Resistance:

- Connect ohmmeter across fuel pump terminals.

Desired - 0.2 to 3.0 ohms

- Replace pump if if fails to provide the desired results.
- For output testing, Testing and Inspection.
