Powertrain Management: Locations

Electronic Component Locations:

Air Flow Sensor
Mounted to the air cleaner box in the left corner of the engine compartment.

Circuit Opening Relay
Mounted to the ECU, under the center of the dash.

Electronic Control Unit (ECU)
Mounted under the center of the dash.

EFI Main Relay
In the relay box in the left front corner of the engine compartment.

EGR Temperature Sensor - CA only
Threaded into the EGR valve at the rear of the intake air chamber.

Fuel Pressure VSV
Mounted near the fuel rail on the right rear corner of the intake manifold.

Idle Speed Control (ISC) Valve
Mounted to the rear of the air intake chamber, at the throttle body.

Knock Sensor
Mounted to the engine block under the intake manifold.

Oxygen Sensor - Main
Mounted to the rear exhaust manifold.

Oxygen Sensor - Sub CA only
Mounted in the exhaust pipe behind the catalyst.

Water Temperature Sensor
Threaded into the intake manifold, near the distributor.
