Vehicle Ride Height
Standard Suspension
Measure front ride height from ground to center of lower suspension arm mounting bolt. Measure rear ride height from ground to center of No. 2 lower suspension arm mounting bolt. Refer to Figs. 7 and 8. Front ride height should be 9.21 inches. Rear ride height should be 9.53 inches. If height is not correct, try settling suspension. If height is still not correct, check for bad springs or suspension components. Air Suspension
For inspection locations, refer to Figs. 7 and 8. To measure height, first turn LRC switch to NORM position. Bounce vehicle several times. Place gear selector in neutral and release the parking brake. Block the drive wheels. Start the engine and set the LRC to HIGH. Wait one minute, then set switch to NORM, wait one more minute. Repeat this procedure once more then check ride height. Front ride height should be 8.98 inches ± 0.039 inch. Rear ride height should be 8.29 inches ± 0.039 inch. If vehicle ride height is not within specifications, adjust by turning height control sensor link.
