Title LS/SC 400 WATER PUMP

The following design changes have been made to improve durability of the water pump seals:

1. The material of the mechanical seal has been changed.

2. The rear bearing seal has been changed as follows:

a. The material of the seal has been changed.
b. Construction of the seal has been changed from a double lip to a triple lip design.

IDENTIFICATION METHOD:

Water pump production date (month/year) is stamped on the water pump cover, as shown.

PART NUMBER INFORMATION:


Water pump part number (P/N 16100 - 50020) remains unchanged. Supply parts contain modified water pumps only.

Note:
Use Toyota Antifreeze/Coolant (P/N 00272 - ILLAC) or equivalent when refilling cooling system.
