Parking Brake System: Adjustments

1. Temporarily install wheel lug nuts to rotor.
2. Remove hole plug and turn adjuster until rotor locks. Return adjuster eight notches and install hole plug.
3. Drive vehicle at 31 mph on safe, level, dry road.
4. On ES 250 models, pull on parking brake handle with 20 lbs. of force.
5. On GS 300 and LS 400 models, depress parking brake pedal with 33 lbs. of force.
6. On all models, drive about 1/4 mile.
7. Repeat this procedure two or three times.
8. Recheck and adjust parking brake lever travel.
