Removal of Instrument Cluster Finish Panel I.P. Hood





1. Remove two screws which secures the I.P. hood (Figure 1).

NOTE:
The two screws are concealed by hinged covers which are permanently attached to the instrument cluster finish panel. Do not remove these hinged covers from the I.P. hood.





2. Use a flat blade screw driver with a protective covering over the shaft to carefully pry and remove the I.P. hood (Figure 2).

a) As shown in Figure 2, carefully insert the screw driver 10 mm and pry at the two lower positions.

b) Carefully pry and remove the upper portion of the cover.





3. Pull the instrument cluster finish panel forward 1 inch to disconnect the electrical connector behind the ODO/Trip and reset switch (Figure 3).

Disconnect the remaining electrical connectors.
