Some ES 300 vehicles may have a rattling noise caused by excessive clearance between the plastic sun visor shaft roller and the sun visor holder. To correct this condition in production, a rib has been added to the sun visor holder as shown.

FIELD-FIX PROCEDURE:





On vehicles with a rattling noise from the sun visor holder, a section of felt from the Squeak & Rattle Repair Kit (Part number 08231-00801) should be cut to the following dimensions. Remove release sheet from back side of felt and inserted into the sun visor holder as shown.
