Title: LS 400 DRIVESHAFT & COMPONENT CHANGES





The part numbers for the Rear Driveshafts on LS 400s have been changed as shown.

The new style driveshaft requires the installation of a new nut and lock nut plate.

NOTE:
After installing the new nut, make sure that it is correctly torqued to the specification shown below.

TORQUE SPECIFICATION: 213 ft. lb. (2,950 kgf cm)





PART NUMBER INFORMATION:

INTERCHANGEABILITY: New Shaft Assembly or Outboard Joint must be replaced as a set with new style Nut and Lock Nut Plate.
