Title: "TAPE" & "CD" BUTTON ILLUMINATION LOGIC CHANGE


The "TAPE" and/or "CD" buttons on the SC400/300 and ES300 audio systems are designed so they will illuminate only when these modes of operation are functioning (Parking/Headlights "ON").





If a Cassette or CD magazine is not inserted and the Parking/ Headlights are "ON", the "TAPE" or "CD" buttons do not illuminate. However, the Cassette door, AM, and FM 1/2 buttons are illuminated.





When a Cassette is inserted with the Parking/Headlights "ON", the Cassette door light goes out and the "TAPE" button illuminates.





When the CD Changer magazine is inserted with the Parking/ Headlights "ON", the "CD" button illuminates. This occurs even when the CD Changer magazine is empty.


Note:

This illumination logic is different from that of the LS400.
