Cooling System: Service and Repair

BLEEDING COOLING SYSTEM

1. Remove radiator cap, then drain coolant from engine and radiator drain cocks. Engine drain cocks are located at front center and rear right of cylinder block.
2. Close drain cocks and tighten to specification.
3. To release air from system, loosen union bolt of water outlet five revolutions.
4. Slowly refill system with coolant, then tighten union bolt to specification.
5. Install radiator cap, then start engine and check for leaks.
6. Check coolant level and fill as necessary.
