Refer to Fig. 2 when testing intermittent wiper operation.
1. Turn wiper switch to ON position.
2. Turn intermittent time control switch to FAST position.
3. Connect positive lead from battery to terminal B-18 and negative lead to terminal B-16, then connect positive lead from voltmeter to terminal B-7 and negative lead to terminal B-16. Ensure voltmeter reads battery voltage.
4. After connecting terminal B-4 to terminal B-18, connect terminal B-4 to terminal B-16. Ensure voltage rises from 0 volts to battery voltage within times shown in the table in Fig. 3.
5. If operation is not as specified, replace switch.
