Wiper Angle Motor
1. Test wiper angle motor operation at INT and LOW position as follows:
a. Connect the two connectors.
b. Turn ignition switch ON and wiper switch to INT or LOW position.
c. Turn ignition switch to LOCK or ACC position.

d. Disconnect wiper angle motor connector and test connector terminals on motor side as shown in Fig. 7.
e. If operation is not as specified, replace motor or inspect relay.
2. Test wiper angle motor operation at HIGH position as follows:
a. Connect the two connectors.
b. Turn ignition switch ON and wiper switch to HIGH position.
c. Turn ignition switch to LOCK or ACC position.

d. Disconnect wiper angle motor connector and test connector terminals on motor side as shown in Fig. 8.
e. If operation is not as specified, replace motor or inspect relay.
3. Test wiper angle motor operation at wiper park position as follows:
a. Connect the two connectors.
b. Turn ignition switch ON and operate wiper motor once and turn wiper switch off.
c. Turn ignition switch OFF.

d. Disconnect wiper angle motor connector and test connector terminals on motor side as shown in Fig. 9.
e. If operation is not as specified, replace motor or inspect relay.
4. Test angle motor operation as follows:

a. Connect positive lead from battery to terminal 5 and negative lead to terminal 6, Fig. 10. Ensure motor turns counter clockwise.
b. Reverse polarity and ensure motor turns counterclockwise.
c. If operation is not as specified, replace motor.
