Rear Wheel Alignment

1. Measure the vehicle height.

NOTE: Before inspecting the wheel alignment, adjust the vehicle height to the specification.

2. Install the camber-caster-kingpin gauge or onto wheel alignment tester, taking care to follow the specific instructions of the equipment manufacturer.
3. Inspect the camber, the reading should be as follows.
^ -1°00' +/- 45' (-1° +/- 0.75°).

Measuring Point Reference:

4. Inspect the toe-in. The toe-in (totals) should be as follows.
^ A+B: 0°24' +/- 12' (0.4° +/- 0.2°).
^ C-D: 4 mm +/- 2mm (0.16 +/- 0.08 inch).

5. Adjust the camber and toe-in, doing the following.
a. Measure the length of the No.1 and No.2 lower suspension arms, as shown in the illustration. The length should be as follows. (E-F) or (F-E) should be less than 4 mm (0.16 inch). If not, adjust the length of the arms by turning the adjusting cam, as shown, until (E-F) or (F-E) is less than 4 mm (0.16 inch).

b. Measure the camber and toe-in. If the camber and toe-in are still not within the specification, adjust the camber and toe-in with the adjusting cam.
c. Loosen and adjust the No.1 and/or No.2 cams.

d. Adjust camber and toe-in by turning the No.1 and/or No.2 cams.

NOTE: Try to adjust the camber and toe-in to the center value.

e. Tighten the No.1 and/or No.2 cams nuts to 184 Nm (136 ft. lbs.).

ADJUSTMENT CHART

NOTE: Read the adjustment chart as follows.

a. Mark on the graph the measurements taken from the vehicle.
Example:
^ Camber (LH): - 0°30'(- 0.5°).
^ Camber (RH): - 1°00'(- 1°).
^ Toe-in: IN 16 mm (0.63 inch).

b. As shown in the illustration, from the graph the amounts by which the front and/or rear cam are to be adjusted. Amount to turn the adjusting cam (by graduation):
^ Left Hand Front Cam: + (Longer) 3.

^ Left Hand Rear Cam: + (Longer) 1.

^ RH Front Cam: + (Longer) 1.

^ Right Rear Cam: - (Shorter) 1.
