Removal and Installation

1. Remove exhaust front pipe, then the propeller shaft, Fig. 1.

2. Drain differential oil.
3. Place alignment marks on driveshafts and differential.
4. Using 10 mm axle bolt removal tool No. 09043-38100, or equivalent, remove driveshafts from differential and support with wire.
5. Support differential with jack, then remove two bolts from rear of differential.
6. Remove bolt from differential side support.
7. Remove mount upper stopper from differential.
8. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque side support bolt to 109 ft. lb.
b. Use tool No. 09572-50010, or equivalent, Fig. 2, to hold rear support bushings in place during tightening. Torque rear support bolts to 90 ft. lb.

c. Torque driveshafts to 61 ft. lb.
d. Fill with differential fluid according to specifications. Specifications
